Tadeusz Kowalski ( Polish. Tadeusz Kowalski ; May 31, 1894 , Lviv , Austria-Hungary - April 1940 , Kharkov , USSR ) - Polish figure skater , bronze medalist of the European Championship in 1934, nine - time champion of Poland in 1927-1935 in pair skating . He played in a pair with Zofya BilΡ‘rovna .

Tadeush Kowalsky also played football, from 1912 to 1928 he played for the team of the city of Lviv . He was an officer in the Polish army with the rank of captain. In 2007, the Polish Ministry of Defense posthumously awarded him the rank of major.
