Emblem Description
“In the azure field, a silver winged wheel over two ears of the same metal tilted to the sides; the scarlet chapter included is burdened with an ancient Russian helmet and a sword turned to the left, also silver; the helmet platoon is laid over the sword. "
Justification of Symbols
The coat of arms of the Sonkovsky district includes the emblem of railway transport - in memory of the fact that the regional center owes its foundation to the railway.
Two ears symbolize the agricultural orientation of the area.
The sword and the ancient Russian helmet serve as a reminder of the battle on the City River in 1238 .
