Club career
Song Wenjie was born in Qingdao , where he graduated from the Youth Football Academy. In February 2010, his club Qingdao Heilifeng was charged with bribes and match-fixing in 2007 and 2009 and was denied the opportunity to continue participating in tournaments under the auspices of the CFA . Thus, Song and his teammates were forced to look for new teams. In March 2010, after several training sessions, he signed a contract with the Qingdao Zhongneng Super League club. During this period, he played for the youth team. Since the summer of 2010 he joined the main team. The debut in the Super League took place on October 31, 2010 in the game against Shanghai Shenhua , which ended in a goalless draw. [2] Korean coach Jung Woo Young put in the main squad and the player spent most of the 2011 championship at the base. The player made his debut goal on May 8, 2011 in a home game against Nanchang Hengyuan , which ended in victory with a score of 4-1. [3] In 19 matches, the player scored six goals and at the end of the season won the title of "Best Young Player" in 2011. [four]
