In 2006, with the support of the Fujairah municipality , a project was launched to create a Wadi Vuraiya nature reserve (a gorge in the Hajar mountains) with an area of 129 sq. M. km., which is intended to become one of the main tourist attractions of Al Fujairah. This picturesque gorge is famous for its waterfalls, springs, rare species of animals and birds. In April 2009, Emir Hamad II issued a decree establishing a conservation zone in the Wadi Vuraiya mountain gorge [1] .

In April 2012, the Fujairah City Center , the largest shopping and entertainment center on the east coast of the UAE, was opened in Fujairah , the construction cost of which is estimated at 400 million dirhams (109.3 million US dollars) [3] . The opening was attended by the heir to the throne, Prince Muhammad bin Hamad.
On June 11, 2012, in the free economic zone of Fujairah, the grand opening of the largest textile factory in the Middle East took place, the construction of which cost $ 60 million. The production capacity of the factory is 10 thousand tons of textiles per year. The project was financed by the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) [4] . During the 2006 Israeli-Lebanese conflict, Emir Hamad ordered humanitarian aid to be sent to Lebanon in the form of 150 tons of food, medicine, tents and blankets [5] .
Demographic Policy
The demographic policy of the government of Emir Hamad II is aimed at supporting young Arab families and stimulating fertility. One of the projects aimed at this was the revival, with the direct support of the government, of the old Bedouin custom of mass weddings, which allows the families of the couple to save on celebrations and invite a much larger number of guests. In January 2007, the sixth mass wedding was held in Fujairah. At the wedding celebration immediately 12 young couples organized on the territory of the international exhibition complex were attended by Emir Hamad II Al-Sharki himself, his sons and local sheikhs [6] . On December 8, 2011, in honor of the 40th anniversary of the UAE , a mass wedding was organized, as a result of which more than 80 young couples entered into legal marriage [7] .
