After the death of his mother (1878), he moved to Warsaw (1879), where his teacher, Maria Konopnitskaya, introduced him to the circle of the First Proletariat political party. In 1885, Abramovski began research at the University of Krakow , but a year later he moved to Switzerland , where he studied philosophy until 1889 at the University of Geneva .
After revising his revolutionary political and journalistic activities, Abramovski moved from the ideological position of orthodox Marxism to anarchism under the influence of the teachings of Leo Tolstoy and anarcho-syndicalism . In his work Socialism and the State, he called himself a "stateless socialist." Nevertheless, he did not break ties with Marxists and was among the founders of the Polish Socialist Party .
Since 1915 he was a professor of psychology at the University of Warsaw , and also lectured on metaphysics .
He himself designated the scientific education he developed as "Phenomenalism." By this concept, he had in mind the research work of all the phenomena of social life and to compare with the content of the consciousness of individual individuals.
