Navagraha Santi

Navagraha Shanti (Navagraha Shanti) - a ritual in Hinduism , which is carried out in order to gain prosperity and longevity, as well as to eliminate all kinds of filth and ritual impurity. According to the precepts of Hinduism, many, if not all ritual ceremonies should begin with Navagraha-shanti.

The meaning of the word goes back to Vedic astrology and means “propitiation of 9 planets ( navagraha )” - the Sun (Surya), Moon (Chandra), Mars (Mangala), Mercury (Budha), Jupiter (Guru), Venus (Sukra), Saturn (Shani) ), Rahu (Northern Lunar Node) and Ketu (Southern Lunar Node).
