The daylights

The Daylights ( "Daylight" ) - an American rock band , formed in 2004 in Los Angeles , California . Her brothers Ran Jackson (guitar, vocals) and Ricky Jackson (bass, vocals), as well as Sven Lerche (drums) formed her.

The most famous of their songs, “I Hope This Gets To You,” was released in December 2010 as a virtual “love message” on YouTube by a roommate of one of the band’s members to her girlfriend, with whom he was separated. During the first 72 hours, the video was watched over 1.5 million times. Their self-titled album, “The Daylights”, was recorded in London and was released on September 14, 2010 via their own label for the 87th Floor Records. The album spent 5 weeks on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The singles “Rogue Machine” and “I Hope This Gets To You” made it to the Top 50 on Hot AC radio. "I Hope This Gets To You" went to No. 4 on Sirius XM.

The Daylights were headlining three rounds in support of their self-titled album, including No Reverse Tour in the fall of 2011. The band also performed with Katy Perry , OneRepublic , NeedtoBreathe , Civil Twilight and Parlotones.
