Alsea River ( Eng. Alsea River ) - a river in the west of Oregon , USA . The length is about 78 km; the basin area is 1207 km² [2] . The average water discharge in the area of the city of Tidewater, 34 km from the mouth, is 42 m³ / s [3] [4] .

It originates in the mountains near the unincluded territory of Alsay. Formed as a confluence of the North Fork and South Fork rivers. Almost throughout its entire course, with the exception of the lower 10 km, it flows through the territory of the Suslow national forest. It flows mainly in a westerly direction and flows into the Pacific Ocean near the town of Waldport. Oregon Route 34 runs along the Alsey River and crosses it about 13 km from the mouth.
The river is a spawning place for fish such as Chinook salmon , coho salmon , mykizha and Clark salmon.
