"Luna" ( Italian. La Luna ) is a short animation film by Pixar studio, first presented in June 2011 . The full premiere of the film took place in June 2012 along with the premiere of the Pixar feature film Brave at Heart . The film "The Moon" is included in the new collection of short animated films from Pixar.

Story
A small boy, Bambino, with his dad and grandfather, at midnight, on a wooden boat, embarks on an unusual voyage on the ocean: the boy finds out for the first time what an unusual thing his family is doing. Now Bambino must choose a path in his life: father, grandfather or find his own.
The plot was influenced not only by the personal experiences of the director, but also the work of Antoine de Saint-Exupery and Italo Calvino .
