Career

Junior career

At international competitions, Daria Nesterchik made her debut in 2008 at the World Junior Championships in the German Ruhpolding , where she took 21st place in the first individual race , was 29th in the sprint and 40th in the pursuit .

Daria won her first medal together with Irina Krivko and Nelya Nikalaeva, taking second place in the relay at the World Junior Championships in Canada in Canada in 2009 .

At the next World Junior Championship in 2010 , held in Tursby, Sweden, Daria was 13th in the individual race , fifth in the sprint , followed by Irina Krivko , 20th in the pursuit and won the bronze in the relay race with Irina Krivko and Diana Moskalenko medal.

Soon after, Daria makes her debut at the European Open Biathlon Championships in the sports center of Tehvandi Otepää , Estonia , performs in the under 21 category and takes 11th place in the individual race , 19th in the sprint and 12th in the relay, together with Irina Babetskaya , Karina Savosik and Daria Yurkevich was the eighth .

Shortly thereafter, at the European Open Biathlon Championships in the Italian town of Masseria (commune of Rachines ), located in the Val Ridanna Valley, Daria took part in the junior competitions and was 8th in the individual race , 13th in the sprint and 12th in the pursuit . Daria won her first medal at the European Open Biathlon Championships in the mixed relay with Irina Krivko , Alexei Abromchik and Alexander Dorozhko .

In 2012, she also participated in the Junior World Championships and the European Open Biathlon Championships in the U21 category.

Adult Career

The 2010/2011 season, Daria begins with performances at the IBU Cup stages and in the second race earns her first points, taking 37th place in the sprint . However, at the IBU Cup stages, Daria was not able to show high results, her best achievement was the 25th place in the individual race at the stage in the Czech Nova Mesto na Morave .

In the 2011/2012 season, Daria performed at the IBU Cup stages, at one of the stages she took 7th place in the individual race, which was the best result in her career. At the European Championship 2012, she participated in the women's relay race among adults, the national team of Belarus finished the fifth of seven participants.

In the 2012/13 season, she took part in one IBU Cup race. In the spring of 2013, she participated in the “Celebration of the North” competitions in Murmansk, where she took third place in the sprint. At the end of the 2012/13 season, she actually completed her sports career.
