Armas Clifford Markkula, Jr. ( born Armas Clifford Markkula, Jr. , February 11, 1942 , Los Angeles ) [1] , known as Mike Markkula , is an American entrepreneur who was a " business angel " and the second CEO of Apple .

It was introduced to Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak when they were looking for funds for the production of the Apple II personal computer after several units of the first version of this computer, Apple I, were sold. With the guidance and financing of Mike Markkul, Apple ceased to be a partnership and was registered as a company.
Biography
Markkula received a bachelor's and master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California [2] . He earned millions on stock options , which he acquired as a sales manager at Fairchild Semiconductor and Intel , after which at 32 he quit his job [3] .
