Story
At the beginning of the series, Bart , Lisa and Maggie watch the " Krusty Clown Show", where he shoots Bob with a cannon to the applause of the children. While Marge calls Homer and asks to stop in a whip shop . Returning home from work, Homer Simpson witnesses the robbery of this store. The robber is a disguised clown resembling Krusty, and he is sent to prison, and Bob takes his place in the television show. The Krusty Clown Show has been renamed the Sideshow Bob's Cavalcade of Whimsy
Bart begs not to testify in court against Krusty, but Homer persists and testifies that he saw Krusty during the robbery of the store. The clown is sent to prison. Bart believes that his hero could not break the law and asks for help from Lisa. To prove their innocence, they are sent to the crime scene and they managed to find something. First, the burglar was warming the pie in the microwave, and it was written on it that people with a pacemaker could not be near it, although, according to Lisa , Krasti had a pacemaker implanted after a heart attack. She also mentions that she and Bart sent Krusty postcards after this heart attack. Secondly, on the film of a hidden camera in the store, it was clear that the offender was reading the magazine, although it turned out in court that Krusty was unable to read. Thus, Lisa begins to believe that Krusty the Clown is innocent.
Soon they came to Sideshow Bob to tell him that Krusty had slandered, but since they didn’t have time to say it backstage, Bart had the opportunity to say it live, and he took advantage of this opportunity, listing all the evidence that they managed discover with Lisa in the Apu store. Bob gives arguments proving that Krusty could be a thief, even though he was reading a magazine and standing by the microwave. Bob told Bart: firstly, Krusty rarely listens to doctors, and secondly: he could not read the magazine, but watch funny caricatures in it. Then Bob casually mentions his huge legs, and Bart recalls that the robber’s foot size was also large, while Krusty’s legs are very small. This was the decisive argument with which Bart proved on the air that it was Bob who framed Krusty. As a result, Sideshow Bob is arrested and sent to prison, and Clown Krusty is released. Chef Wiggum and Homer apologize to him, and the clown himself thanks Bart for his trust.
