Biography

T.D. Lesovaya was born in 1956 in Taldy-Kurgan . In the early 1960s, the family moved to Frunze , the capital of the Kyrgyz SSR . During her studies at vocational schools, the trainer of throwers Yuri Nelyubov drew attention to her. Later, at the Olympic Training Center in Moscow, she was coached by Otto Grigalka, Honored Trainer of the USSR . Upon returning to Kazakhstan, Tatyana trained at the Labor Reserves society in Alma-Ata and Karaganda .

Despite fierce competition, Tatyana Lesovaya was able to win a license for the Moscow Olympics - 1980 . The Olympics - 1980 became a triumph of the career of T.D. Lesovoy. The result of 67.40 allowed her to win a bronze medal. She also owns the record of Kazakhstan in discus throwing in women - 68.18 m, established in 1982.

After the 1980 Olympics , T.D. Lesovoy did not have major victories. In 1986, she completed her career.

After graduating from the Higher School of Trainers, T.D. Lesovaya began to work as a trainer in CSKA (Almaty).
