Termitaphididae (lat.) Is a family of termitophilic bugs in the infraorder Pentatomomorpha ( Aradoidea ). 13 species. Small insects are oval in shape, dorsoventrally flattened, body length from 2 to 4 mm (fossil species T. protera reaches 7 mm) [2] . They are inquilines in nests of termites from the families of Termitidae and Rhinotermitidae . There are 3 known fossil species of the genus Termitaradus from Dominican amber and one from Mexican amber. Modern species are found in tropical countries in Central and South America, Africa, Asia and Australia [2] [3] [4] .
