Events
- March 15 - Rennes Metro is open.
- June 16 - commissioning of the Hauptbahnhof - Kaiserslauterner Straße section of the Düsseldorf Metro
- August 12 - 16 - 19 out of 51 stations of the Prague Metro were flooded as a result of flooding. Through traffic on all three lines (on the “B” line for some time - completely), as well as transfers between them, stopped.
