Biography

The student of the legendary honored coach - Viktor Alekseev . He played for LOMO, DSO "Trud", DSO "Zenit", SKA. Master of Sports of the USSR (1957).

In 1959 he graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education of the Leningrad State Pedagogical Institute. A.I. Herzen .

  • 1976-2010 - Coach of the national teams of the USSR and Russia. He prepared the 1980 Olympic champion - Victor Rashchupkin (discus throw), the bronze medalist of the Barcelona Olympic Games (1992) - Igor Nikulin (hammer throw).
