Creativity
The first book by Fabr, “Connaissance de la Déesse” (1920), was created under the obvious influence of Paul Valery , and is a collection of refined poems on philosophical themes expressing a desire for the irrational . The most significant work of Fabre is the trilogy novel Rabevel ou le des artents (1923), La jeunesse de Rabevel, Le financier Rabevel, La fin de Rabevel, where the author contrasted the tempestuous and dark world of financial fraud with soothing in religion, the patriarchal life of the old nobility estates, full in his eyes of peace and tranquility. The novel is replete with naturalistic details and erotic scenes. The conservatism of Fabre and his commitment to Catholicism were clearly reflected in the highly tendentious novel La Tarramagnou (The Man from the Land, 1925) - about the life of a village ruined by deft businessmen. Here he seeks to show the fatality of any revolutionary action. The novel is imbued with Fabre's characteristic spirit of religious mysticism .
