Geography
The village is located south of the village of Shikili and north of the village of Bogdana , near the border with Poland , from which the village is separated by the Western Bug River . The distance to the urban village Domachevo is 3.5 km to the northeast, to the center of Brest - 50 km to the north.
History
In the XIX century - the village of Brest district of Grodno province , was part of the estate Domachevo (possession of Prince Wittgenstein). In 1870 - the center of a rural society. According to the census of 1897, the village of Domachevsky parish, Brest district, 54 yards, an inn .
After the Riga Peace Treaty of 1921 - as part of the Domachevo commune of Brest district of Polesia voivodeship of Poland, 37 yards. Since 1939 as part of the BSSR .
Population
As of January 1, 2018, there were 78 residents in 38 households, of which 20 are younger than working age, 40 are of working age and 18 are older than working age. The club and library are active [1] .
