Revenge of the Creature ( Revenge of the Creature ) is an American black and white feature film shot by director Jack Arnold in 1955 , released in the United States on May 11, 1955 . This is the first of two sequels of the first film “The Creature from the Black Lagoon” . The second sequel and the latest film of the trilogy was “The Creature walks among us” in 1956 . In "Revenge of the Beast" in a cameo role, Clint Eastwood , not listed in the credits, starred, and this role was his first work in the full-length film [1] .

Content
Story
Earlier survivor, riddled with bullets, the Creature was caught and sent to Ocean Harbor in Florida , where animal psychologist Professor Clit Ferguson and ichthyologist student Helen Dobson are beginning to study it.
Helen and Cleit quickly begin to fall in love with each other, much to the chagrin of Joe Hayes, the creature's keeper. Helen immediately likes the monster, which greatly hinders Klit's efforts to communicate with him. One day, the Creature escapes from its water tank, killing Joe along the way, and heads for the open ocean.
Unable to stop thinking about Helen, the Creature soon begins to follow her and Klit, eventually abducting Helen from a seaside restaurant where she and Klit were at a party. Cleit tries to chase the creature, but he runs to the ocean with Helen in his paws. Cleit and the police still catch up with the Creature, and, taking a moment, the police shoot at the creature, and at that time Cleith saves Helen from the paws of the Critter.

Criticism
In a critical article in the New York Times, The Revenge of the Critter received a negative assessment and bad reviews about everything related to this movie. The exception was made only for scenes related to the interesting scenery of the film, according to the author of the article, who in particular wrote: “The Oceanarium is perhaps the most unusual oceanarium in the world, creating a really beautiful and picturesque background ...”. In general, the author of the article dismissively reacted to this picture [2] .
In 1997, the film was aired as one of the episodes of the comedy television series Mystery Science Theater 3000 , making fun of the film [3] .
