Campanella took second place at the 2007 Young Miss USA Contest. After winning the Miss USA contest in 2011, she became the US representative at the Miss Universe 2011 contest , held in São Paulo , Brazil in September 2011, where she entered the top 16.

Early years
Alice Campanella was born March 21, 1990 in Manalapan, New Jersey . In childhood, attended Freehold High School. At the age of 17, she began to study at the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Art, where she studied acting in film and television. She also attended the Institute of Culinary Arts .
Young Miss USA
In October 2006, Campanella won the Young Miss New Jersey title and became a member of her staff at the 2007 Young Miss USA contest held on August 24, 2007 in Pasadena , California . In the competition, she took second place, losing to the winner Hilary Cruz from Colorado [2] .
Miss USA
Campanella twice participated in the Miss New Jersey contest, finishing second in 2008 and ranking among the top 15 in 2009.
On November 11, 2010, she took part in the Miss California contest, where she won the title. On June 19, 2011, she won the Miss USA title in Las Vegas , Nevada . As Miss USA, she represented her country at the Miss Universe 2011 contest held on September 12, 2011 in Brazil, where she entered the 16 best [3] [4] [5] .
Personal life
Her father is of Italian descent, and her mother has Danish and German roots [6] . Since 2010, Campanella began dating Canadian actor Torrance Coombs [7] . On June 12, 2015, the couple announced their engagement. [8] The wedding ceremony was held on April 2, 2016 in a small circle in Santa Inez, California, USA [9] . On April 19, 2019, they announced their separation [10] .
Other projects
In 2013, Alyssa, along with three other winners of the Miss USA contest, posed almost naked for the PETA campaign against fur prizes at beauty contests [11] .
He currently runs the blog “The A List” [12] .
