Art of Dying is a Canadian rock band founded in 2004 . The main direction in which the group plays is alternative rock ; alternative metal , hard rock and post-grunge also performed for their existence.

Content
History
The group was formed in 2004 by vocalist Johnny Geterington and guitarist Greg Bradley.
On December 1, 2009, it was announced that the group had signed to Intoxication / Reprise Records, founded by Disturbed David Dreiman and Dan Donegan. The album was produced by Howard Benson and was mixed by Chris Lord Elg. Vices and Virtues was released on March 22, 2011.
Art Of Dying toured almost continuously in support of the album. In addition to headlining and co-headlining club shows, the group has been featured at several of the country's largest hard rock and heavy metal festivals. They were at the 1st and 2nd annual Avalanche Tours in 2011 and 2012, headlined by Stone Sour and Shinedown, respectively. They also performed at the Rockstar's 2011 Uproar Festival, headlined by Avenged Sevenfold. The band performed at Rock on The Range, Carolina Rebellion, and at the 48 Hours Fest in 2011.
On April 24, 2012, the full acoustic album Let the Fire Burn was released.
At the end of 2012, Art Of Dying began recording a new album.
