Subdivisions of the Siberian State University of Science and Technology named after academician M.F. Reshetnev were formed for more than fifty years from the moment of foundation, when the educational institution was subordinated to the Krasnoyarsk Polytechnic Institute as a technical college , to the present, when separate departments are not included in the structure faculties , began to unite. Separate faculties (for example, aerospace) have become the basis for the formation of institutes of SibSU [1] .
Currently, the university has five institutes and six faculties. The main emphasis in teaching is placed on physical , mathematical and engineering disciplines related to the aerospace industry. This task is mainly performed by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics , the Faculty of Civil Aviation and Customs , the Institute of Space Technology and the Institute of Space Research and High Technologies . Most of the graduates of these units are accepted by the basic enterprises of Krasnoyarsk and Zheleznogorsk . Training of specialists in the field of economics , finance , computer science and computer engineering , marketing and management is carried out at the engineering and economic (in the branches - financial and economic) and humanities departments , at the International School of Business and the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications .

Institutions
The institutes of Siberian State University include: the Institute of Space Technology (ICT), the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications (IITK), the Institute for Space Research and High Technologies (IKIVT), the Institute for Continuing Education (INO) and the Military Institute (VI) [2] .
Space Technology Institute
ICT was created in 2008 on the basis of the abolished aerospace faculty of Siberian State University by decision of the Academic Council [3] . The director of the institute is Dr. Sc. Valery Anatolyevich Levko.
The Institute has modern equipment for research and development activities : aircraft design laboratories, subsonic aerodynamics and supersonic aerodynamics , computer center , educational and scientific laboratories of enterprises and other premises [4] . ICT students and teachers work in the field of practical space exploration, gaining practical experience in the industry. The teaching staff consists of 144 people (27 doctors, 59 candidates).

Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications
IITK was created in 2008 on the basis of the abolished faculty of computer science and control systems of Siberian State University. Director - Doctor of Philosophy Alexey Mikhailovich Popov. The main activities of the Institute are related to information technology , information security , robotics and radio engineering , software engineering , systems analysis and management.
IITC students have the opportunity to study at the University of Michigan and the University of Utah , Ulm University and the Rhine-Westphalian Technical University , Czech Technical University [5] .

Space Research and High Technology Institute
IKIVT, unlike other SibSU institutes, was created on the basis of a bilateral agreement between the rector of the Aerospace University and the chairman of the Presidium of the Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS in 2008 [6] . Director of the Institute - Doctor of Physics and Mathematics n Vladimir Viktorovich Shaidurov [7] .
The Institute carries out both scientific and educational activities in the field of space , in which students are directly involved. The task of the institute is to prepare highly qualified specialists in the field of modern physics and astronautics, semiconductors and nanotechnology [8] .

Military Institute
The military institute was established in 2008 in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 6, 2008 No. 275-r βOn military training centers, military training faculties and military departments at federal state educational institutions of higher professional educationβ [9] . Initially, a military training center (UVC) was created, and after it - the faculty of military training (FVO). The head of the UVC is Vladimir Ivanovich Kolesnik. The head of the FVO is Igor Nikolayevich Karzan.
The Institute has available mobile units of the Topol missile system , Tochka transport and loading vehicles, and launchers [10] . Cadets trained at the military training center of the military institute of the Siberian State University receive the rank of lieutenant and undergo mandatory contractual service in the Strategic Missile Forces (the minimum term for concluding the first contract is 3 years). Students trained at one of the military departments of the military training faculty receive the rank of reserve lieutenant and are exempted from compulsory military service upon conscription.
Institute for Continuing Education
The Institute of Continuing Education is a structure created to improve the system of continuing education at SibSU, which ensures the development of professional and personal qualities of a person at each stage of his education.

The faculties of SibSU include: Faculty of Engineering and Mechatronics (FMM), Faculty of Civil Aviation and Customs (FGAiTD), Faculty of Engineering and Economics (IEF), Faculty of Humanities (GF), International Higher School of Business (MVS) and Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports (FFKS) [2] .

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics of SibSU prepares specialists in the field of engineering technology , mechatronics , welding technology, design and operation of refrigeration and cryogenic equipment , metrology , standardization and certification [11] . Thanks to the latest equipment, students receive the necessary knowledge and experience in these areas, sufficient to work at the largest enterprises of the Krasnoyarsk Territory , cities of Russia and abroad. MBS provides training in the areas of " management ", " state and municipal management ", " personnel management ".
