He studied at the Paris Conservatory with Paul Duke and Lazard Levy .
In 1942 he headed the Versailles Academy of Music, in 1957 - 1982 . was a professor in the Paris Conservatory in the class of the chamber ensemble (among the students of Hubot there were, in particular, Jacques Rouvier , Olivier Charlier , Philippe Aich ).
In the repertoire of the Yubo pianist, the most prominent place was occupied by the works of Duke and Foret , as well as Schumann .
Jean Hubaut also worked as a composer, but his own musical compositions did not earn much recognition.
