History

The club was originally founded by Xi'an Dongsheng, but was later sold to Nanhai Nansing Corporation. In August 2001, the club won the National Basketball League and got the opportunity to play in the elite championship - the Chinese Basketball Association .

At the next change of sponsor, the club changed its name to Shaanxi Dongsheng, and the Chinese mythical animal qilin became the mascot. In 2010, the team moved to Foshan and changed its name again.
