Career
Paulo Adrian began his career in the Anadia team, with which he signed a professional contract in July 1996. In 1998, he moved to the more famous club " Academician " from his hometown . The team in the 1998/99 season flew from the country 's major league to the second division , and received a promotion only in the 2001/02 season. For this reason, Adriano made his debut in the Super League only on October 29, 2003 in a match with Benfica , which ended in the defeat of his club with a score of 1: 3 [2] . In October of the following year, the Portuguese scored his first goal in the Portuguese championship in a game with Maritimo . The goal scored was the only one in the meeting [3] . In August 2009, Paulo Adriano, having left Steaua as a free agent, signed a contract with Vladikavkaz Alania [6] . The club performed in the First Division of Russia . After that, he played another 9 matches for the team, did not score a single goal, but gave two assists (in a meeting with Luch-Energiya and Shinnik ).
