Ritin [1] ( born Ruthin , wall. Rhuthun ) is a city in the north of Wales , the administrative center of the unitary administrative unit of Wales with the status of the county of Denbyshire . The river flows through the city of Kluid .

History
The name of the city of Ritin comes from the Welsh words rhudd (red) and din (fort, fortress) by the color of red sandstone, which forms the basis of the geological area and from which the castle was built in 1277-1484. The original name is Castell Coch yng Ngwern-fôr (red castle in the swamp).
There is evidence of the location in this area of Celtic, and then the ancient Roman settlements.
