“ Grand Hotel ”, or “ Grand Hotel ” ( Spanish: Gran Hotel ), is a Spanish television series produced by Bambú Producciones [2] . First appeared in Spain on the Antena 3 channel [3] in 2011.

Story
In 1905, a young man Julio Olmedo arrives at the Grand Hotel, where, under the guise of a waiter, investigates the disappearance of his sister. On the way to the investigation, he will meet Alicia Alarcon, the daughter of the hotel owner, whom he will fall in love with and will trust. The romantic story is overshadowed by a series of murders and other unexpected events that the heroes have to cope with, as well as the fact that Alicia is engaged to Diego, an ambitious man ready to do anything to become the director of the hotel.
Location
According to the plot, the events of the series occur near the fictional city of Cantaloa. The main shooting of the first season of the television series took place on the peninsula of La Magdalena in the city of Santander , the embodiment of the Grand Hotel was the famous Royal Palace of La Magdalena , the former summer residence of the Spanish king Alfonso XIII , which is the most visited place on the peninsula. The palace has two main entrances - the north and south, which is the main entrance both in the television series and in reality [5] .
