Biography
Born on August 20, 1931 in the village of Sumsi, Votsk Autonomous Region, as part of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (now the district center of the Udmurt Republic ).
Having received secondary education and graduated from the factory training factory , in 1948 he began his production activities as a steelworker's assistant at the Izhevsk Metallurgical Plant . He studied with the famous steelworker, Hero of Socialist Labor A.G. Lykov . In 1956, after serving in military service in the Soviet Army, he returned to the factory. Of the more than 40 years spent at this enterprise, EV Chernykh worked most of the time as a steelmaker at the electric furnace shop .
He headed the team of steelworkers, which for many years was the leader in socialist competition and among the first at the factory was awarded the honorary title of "Brigade of Communist Labor."
During the IX five-year plan ( 1971 - 1975 ), the team of E.V. Chernykh completed her task ahead of schedule, producing over 2,250 tons of stainless steel over the plan and saving more than 40,000 rubles. The team mastered the smelting of 12 high-alloy steel grades, the foreman himself was the author of a number of rationalization proposals. At the workplace, the Black crews organized schools of steelmaking skills. In the X five-year period alone, he trained 10 qualified steelworkers.
For the outstanding successes achieved in fulfilling the plan and socialist commitments, Evgeny Vasilyevich Chernykh was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor by the Decree of the Presidium of the USSR Supreme Council on June 10, 1977 with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle [1] .
In 1978 he was appointed and. about. shift supervisor, since 1980 he was a foreman, since 1982 - a senior process engineer.
Since 1961 he was a member of the CPSU . He was elected in different years as a member of the regional and central committees of the trade unions of the metallurgical industry, a member of the Izhevsk city committee of the CPSU. He participated in many regional conferences on the development of Izhevsk and Udmurtia.
In 1981 (from the age of 50), E. V. Chernykh retired, but until 1992 he continued to work at the Metallurg Culture Center. In 1988 he was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of Izhevsk" [2] , and in 2005 - "Honorary Citizen of the Udmurt Republic."
He lived in Izhevsk, where he died on May 29, 2012 at the 81st year of his life [3] .
