Distance to the regional center : 103 km. Distance to the district center : 9 km.
History
Initially, on the site of a modern farm, there were private courtyards of the inhabitants of the village of Vinodelny (Chemrek) who settled here in 1918. In 1929 the collective farm “Reclamation” was formed (since 1934 - “17 years of October”) [3] .
According to the lists for 1939 and 1953, the Melioration (Melioration) farm was administratively part of the Ipatovo Village Council of the Ipatovo District [4] . In the lists for 1959, 1966 and 1970, he was listed in the Liman Village Council [5] .
In 1941-1945, the inhabitants of the farm fought on the fronts of World War II . Among them - N. I. Emelianenko (Knight of the Order of the Red Star ); A. D. Trykov (awarded the medal "For Courage" ); A. M. Kulida (awarded the medal "For Military Merit" ) and others [6] .
In 1953, the farms of the settlements Melioration, Vesely and Yusup-Kulak were attached to the collective farm named after Lenin [6] .
Until May 1, 2017 [7] was part of the rural settlement of Limanskiy village council [8] .

Infrastructure
In Soviet times, a store, library, and first-aid post were opened in Land Reclamation [10] . In the second half of the 2000s, the farm was gasified as part of the regional co-financing program [11] .
There are two streets in the village - Podgornaya and Shosseinaya [12] . 450 m south-east of the farm is a public open cemetery with an area of 10 thousand m² [13] .
Telecommunications
In 2016, an Internet access point was put into operation in the farm (data is transmitted via a fiber-optic communication line ) [14] .
