About the album
Overnight Sensation was the first CD recorded after the departure of guitarist Mick Burston (better known as “Würzel”). The team did not find a replacement for him, so the group continued to perform three together, as in the early 80s. For the first time since the days of Ace of Spades , the album cover features a photograph of the band. The album is also the first full release of the group on the CMC International label - the previous Sacrifice album was only partially released on this label.
Despite the fact that the group remained three of them, the album turned out to be more “heavy” than the previous one, but it did not receive much commercial success.
