Geographical position
Distance to the regional center : 122 km. Distance to district center : 33 km.
History
In accordance with the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of September 21, 1964, the village of the Third Farm of the Sovetskoye Runo Breeding Plant was renamed the village of Dontsovo [1] .
In Soviet times, a club, a bath, and a first-aid station were opened in the village [4] .
Until May 1, 2017 [5], the village was part of a rural settlement, the Soviet-Voronovskaya Village Council [6] .
