Biography
Peasant. Russian Orthodox religion . He graduated from a rural elementary school, and then Oryol teacher's seminary. He passed the exam at the Oryol gymnasium for the title of public teacher. He was a worker on the Sino-Eastern Railway , and then worked as a zemstvo teacher in the village of Vyazovoye of the Fedorovsky volost of Maloarkhangelsky district . Small landowner. Had 3 land plots [1] [2] .
On March 28, 1906, the provincial electoral assembly elected a deputy of the State Duma from the Oryol province. In it, Kukanov joined the Labor Group , was in the agrarian commission, was an adherent of social democratic ideas [3] . He spoke in the Duma on the issue of the State Council and agricultural affairs. After the dissolution of the Duma in Kurakinskoy volost, Kukanov organized a department of the Labor Group, for which in September 1906 the former parliamentarian was arrested. His further fate and date of death are unknown [1] [2] .
