Geography
The village is located in the south-west of the Brest region, near its border with Ukraine , south of the village of Novosady and northeast of the village of Dubok . The distance to the center of Brest is 58 km to the north, to Domachev - 15 km.
History
The name suggests that in the past there was a glass factory [1] .
In the XIX century - a village in the Brest district of the Grodno province . In 1860, in Priborovo volost, as part of the Priborovo estate, owned by Count Zamoysky . In July 1862, peasant unrest took place - the peasants refused to serve a compulsory duty and pay rent. In 1866, a public school was founded. In 1890, the peasants of the Gutsky agricultural partnership had 183 tithes of land.
After the Riga Peace Treaty of 1921 - 16 yards in the municipality of Priborovo, Brest County, Polesskie Voivodeship of Poland.
Since 1939 - as part of the BSSR . In 1940 - 58 yards. In World War II, the Nazis burned 51 yards and destroyed 9 residents.
