Guyandotte River ( English Guyandotte River ) - a river in the south-west of West Virginia , USA . Left tributary of the Ohio River . The length is about 267 km [1] . It originates in Rayleigh district, in the form of a merger of the three upper reaches: Winding-Gulf, Stonecoal Creek and Devils Fork. It flows mainly in the western and north-western directions, flowing through the territories of Wyoming, Mingo, Logan, Lincoln and Cabell counties. It flows into the Ohio River at Huntington, about 8 km east of downtown. In Wyoming and Mingo counties, there is a Bailey Reservoir on the river.
