History
It was founded in 1968 [3] [4] . The construction of the village was carried out with the aim of “bringing the command structures of the Izobilnensky state farm closer to seven thousand hectares of irrigated land” [3] .
In 1972, by a decree of the Presidium of the Armed Forces of the RSFSR, the village of the experimental land reclamation station and the village of Branch No. 3 of the Izobilnensky state farm, which actually merged into a single settlement, were renamed the village of Novoizobilny [5] .
By the end of the 1970s, 70 residential buildings (including two- and three-story ones), a club, a library, and a kindergarten were erected in Novoizobilny. In 1993, a school was built [4] .
On February 18, 1993, the Small Council of the Stavropol Territory Council of People's Deputies decided “To form a Novoizobilnensky village council in the Izobilnensky district with a center in the village of Novoizobilny. To include in its structure the village of Novoizobilny and the Shirobokov farm, isolated from the Tishchensky village council ” [6] .
Until 2017 [7] was the administrative center of the rural settlement Novoizobilnensky village council [8] [9] .

Transport
From the city of Izobilny every hour from 7.00 to 18.00 (a break from 12.00 to 14.00) there is a local bus number 110. In addition, there are buses passing to the villages of Ptichye and Tishchenskoye.
