Biography

Born in Moscow. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Organic Production of the Moscow Institute of Chemical Engineering (IIMM) in 1966, a mechanical engineer with a degree in Machines and Apparatuses in Chemical Production. In 1970-1971 studied in full-time postgraduate studies at IIHM. Candidate of Technical Sciences (1971), Senior Researcher (1975), Associate Professor (1980). Since 1975 - assistant and associate professor, since 1998 - professor of the departments "Polymer Engineering" and "Polymerservice" IIHM, (since 1997 - Moscow State University of Environmental Engineering (MGUIE). In 1978-1981 - Executive Secretary of the IIMM Admissions Committee From 1983 to 2012, he was dean of the evening education faculty of Moscow State University of Economics and Economics, from 2012 to 2016, he was a professor at the Polymer Engineering Department of the University of Mechanical Engineering and the author of a textbook for universities, publications in leading scientific journals, 20 popular science books and brochures.

He is known for his works on the regional history of the city of Moscow [1] , Moscow Orthodox antiquity [2] , biographies of prominent Muscovites [3] [4] , and the history of Moscow educational institutions [5] . Together with E. M. Yukhimenko, he prepared for publication a rare example of merchant memoirs - the memoirs of a major businessman and industrialist at the turn of the 19th – 20th centuries. N. A. He is the author of biographical and thematic articles in multivolume scientific and encyclopedic publications: The Big Russian Encyclopedia, The Orthodox Encyclopedia, The Germans of Russia, Moscow, The Economic History of Russia from Ancient Times to 1917, The Moscow Encyclopedia vol. I . Faces of Moscow ”and others [7] . Member of the Council of the Moscow Local History Society [8] , developer of the concept of the coat of arms of the Basmanny district of the Central Administrative District of Moscow, approved by the district assembly on May 13, 1998. Member of the Museum Council of Moscow State University of Economics, one of the founders of the University History Museum [9] , author of the Moscow State University of Economics and Economics approved by Rospatent on April 18 2011 as a trademark of the university.
