New Delhi Television Limited ( NDTV ) is an Indian commercial television company. It was founded in 1988 by the famous journalist Prana Roy , now the president of NDTV Group. NDTV is the abbreviation of the original name of the television company - New Delhi Television . [1] It is one of the largest television companies in India. It has representative offices in 23 cities of the country. The core of the company are three national news channels: NDTV 24x7 (English), NDTV India (Hindi) and NDTV Profit (business news). Each year, the company awards the NDTV Indian of the year award .
