Content
Geographical position
The village council is located in the western part of the Kletsk district and borders the Krasnozvezdovsky , Sinyavsky , Tuchansky , Schepichsky village councils of the Kletsk region, Nachsky and Zherebkovichsky village councils of the Lyakhovichi district of the Brest region .
Demographics
In 2011, 1592 people (694 households) lived in the village council.
History
The village of Kuhchitsy has been known since the beginning of the 16th century . The name comes from the word "kitchen" - the so-called servants of the castle of Radziwill , who settled on the right bank of the river Lan (from the Belarusian "dats kuhtalya" - chased).
In 1939, the Liskovsky Village Council was established. In September 1980, the Liskovsky Village Council was merged with Zaleshansky and renamed Kukhitsky .
In 2006, the administrative center of the village council - the village of Kukhitsy gained the status of an agro-town .

Manufacturing
- Agricultural production cooperative "Kukhitsy". The main types of products: milk, meat, grain, sugar beets and potatoes.
Socio-Cultural Sphere
- Two schools: Liskovskaya and Kuhchitskaya. Founded in 1939. In 1966, they were combined and housed in a new building. In 2005, the Zaleshansky basic school-kindergarten joined the Liskovsky secondary school. Since 2006, the school acquired the status of an educational complex
