Moden is located at the foot of Mont Ventoux , 30 km northeast of Avignon and 14 km northeast of Carpentra . Neighboring communes: Crillon-le-Brav and Bedouin in the northeast, Saint-Pierre-de-Vassolles in the southeast, Caromb , Saint-Hippolytus-le-Graveiron and Le-Barreux in the northwest. The river Honey flows through Moden, originating on Mount Mont Ventoux .
