Geography

The village is located in the northwest of the Tamalinsky district, on the left bank of the river Sjuverny , the distance to the center of the village council of the village of Ulyanovka is 12 km, the distance to the district center of the village. Tamala - 28 km.

History

According to the studies of the historian-local historian M. Poluboyarova , the village was founded by Count Pyotr Kirillovich Razumovsky between 1747 and 1762 on the bank of the river Sjuvernya. In 1780, as part of the Chembarsky district , in 1877, it was part of the Obval'sky volost of the Chembarsky district. In 1878, a church was built in the name of the Icon of the Kazan Mother of God , which burned down in 1905 and was rebuilt again in 1911. In 1955 - in the Belinsky district , in 1966 transferred to the Tamalinsky district, the center of the Kamensky Village Council. [1] [2] According to the Law of the Penza Region No. 1992-ZPO of December 22, 2010, the Kamensky Village Soviet was abolished, the village was transferred to the Ulyanovsk Village Council.
