Biography
- Born June 30, 1891 in Tsarskoye Selo . In the family of the hero of the Russo-Turkish War (1877-1878), Lieutenant General Alexander Nikolayevich Ragozin, commander of the 8th East Siberian Rifle Division, from 1904-1907 head of the Officer Rifle School in Oranienbaum ;

At the end of the fighting, he was engaged in teaching and instructor work at aviation schools;
- June 18, 1936: delivered General Francisco Franco from Tetuan to Seville on his plane. After that, for some time he was his personal pilot.
- 1936-1937 - was included in the Spanish Air Force African contingent;
- December 14, 1936 - received the rank of captain (with seniority from July 1, 1934).
- 1936-1939 - participant in the Spanish Civil War on the side of the Phalangists ; He flew on the aircraft "Breguet-19" , "Fokker F.VII" [7] and "Savoy SM-81 . " He flew as part of an Italian group, perhaps he also interacted with the German pilots of the Condor legion , since among his many awards there appeared the Order of the German Eagle with swords.
- From October 1937 to August 1939 - was in the south of Spain. In addition to participating in the hostilities, from November 1936 he taught at the Tripulantes flight school and was an instructor in aviation navigational affairs in Tablad and Malaga .
- After the war, he was promoted to lieutenant colonel by General Franco, was awarded a great star for 35 years of excellent service (counting the war year for two), received the title of Honorary Pilot of Spain, Germany and Italy. Ragozin’s track record recorded 2,400 flight hours, of which 1,465 were combat.
- 1940-1941 - head of the aviation school in Thiers .
- Nikolai Alexandrovich Ragozin died on the 67th year of his life on the island of Mallorca (Spain) on September 21, 1957.

Family
- Ragozin’s son, Alexander Nikolayevich, following his father’s example, fought in the ranks of Franco aviation in the summer of 1936, built an “air bridge” between the main group of nationalists and the Audyar monastery surrounded by republicans. At the end of 1936, he was wounded in one of the sorties. During the Second World War, he fought as part of the Spanish units operating on the side of Germany on the Eastern Front. After the war, Ragozin Jr. continued his aviation service and by 1955 received the rank of lieutenant .

From a presentation to the Order of St. George of the 4th degree, signed by the detachment commander: “On March 15, 1915, he flew twice over the Bosphorus for the purpose of reconnaissance.
