Fite is a village in the Agulsky district of Dagestan (Russia).

The village of Fite forms the rural settlement as the only settlement in its composition ^[2] .

Geography

Located 12 km east of the village of Tpig , on Mount Fitidag.

History

Analysis of the epigraphic material collected in s. Fite, shows that it existed in the XI-XII centuries. In 1739-1741 Nadir Shah captured and ruined Fite.
