Club career
Voskanyan from early childhood loved football. And when a football coach came to school in the first grade, Voskanyan did not miss the opportunity to take a chance and started going to training. He began his career at the football school "Malatia" (currently the school is owned by Banants ), under the leadership of Hakob Andreasyan.
Since 2008, he played for Miku-2 in the First League . Two years later, he made his debut for the main team in the Premier League . In that year he played in 3 matches. In 2011, he claimed a place in the defense of the team, and from this season he is the main player. In European competitions of the 2011/12 season, he was declared for both matches of the Europa League against the Norwegian Volerenga , but did not appear on the field, remaining in reserve [1] [2] . The agreement with the club expires in December 2012.
Team Career
In 2011, the head coach of the youth team of Armenia , saw in Voskanyan the skills that will be combined in the game of the youth team . On June 7, of the same year, Voskanyan made his debut for the national team in the qualifying round for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship . The debut came in the opening match against the youth team of Montenegro , in which the Armenian youth defeated their rivals with a score of 4: 1 [3] . In total, he spent 4 matches for the youth team, and all in the period of 2011.
February 28, 2012 he made his debut in the national team in a match against the national team of Serbia . Voskanyan appeared on the field in the 77th minute of the match, replacing Varazdat Aroyan . The match ended with the defeat of the Armenian national team 0: 2 [4] .
