About composition
"It Would Be So Nice" was written by Richard Wright and published on April 12, 1968 , this is the first song recorded by Pink Floyd in a new line-up after replacing Sid Barrett by David Gilmore . Later, Roger Waters and Nick Mason very negatively rated this song [2] . Nevertheless, “It Would Be So Nice” appeared on The Best of the Pink Floyd ( 1970 ) and Masters of Rock ( 1974 ).
