Thunder Ralph has been living in a slot machine for 30 years, where he must destroy a house built by a player with the help of a hero with a magic hammer - Master Felix Jr. There comes a time when Ralph cannot tolerate the established order, when the hero gets absolutely all the honors, and the villain in his role must endure - if not bullying and humiliation, then silent neglect. Having learned from the residents of the house who had gathered at the party about the thirty years of the game, the way they are ready to acknowledge his merits, Ralph goes in search of a gold medal in other games. Although the villains are not awarded medals anywhere, Ralph is lucky, and he finds a character who is tired of playing the role of the hero of the game " Hero's Duty " ( Eng. Hero's Duty ).

Having exchanged places with him, but not knowing the rules or the fact that the insect-like enemies there are virus-like and dangerous for any game, Ralph still gets a medal, but gets back into an accident and puts the virus into the game “Fast and Furious” ( English Sugar Rush ). Here he has to chase after the unrecognized, “buggy” racer Vanilopa von Keks, who wants to use his medal to access the races. At this time, in the game of Ralph in his absence problems arise, and Felix sets off in search of his opponent. After a series of adventures, Ralph agrees to help Vanilope create and learn how to drive a car in order to win the race, after which his medal will return. But King Caramel himself gives him the medal and convinces him that Vanilope’s victory will destroy the game, so Ralph breaks Vanilope’s car, Vanilope cries and says “You really are bad”, which makes Ralph feel bad, but he returns to his place. Vanillop and Felix end up in a local prison.

Returning home, Ralph discovers that his absence almost destroyed his slot machine, and accidentally notices that he was deceived about Vanillop. Returning to the racing game, Ralph frees Vanillop and Felix and sends Vanilop to the races, but at that moment the viruses he has brought in manifest themselves, starting to destroy everything around him. Thanks to the help of Sergeant Calhoun from the Hero's Debt game and Ralph’s heroism, the virus-like insects were defeated, Vanilopa successfully finished, and her true status returned to her. At the end of the film, Ralph comes to the point that he begins to do his work with the joy and respect of the team, helps to rebuild and expand his game, which is becoming even more interesting and popular. During the credits, it is shown how the main characters go on a journey through all the games of the gaming hall.

• Ralph ( born Wreck-It Ralph - Gromila Ralph ) is the main character of the film. Despite the fact that breaking everything is his duty in the game “Master Felix Jr.”, no one respects Ralph for this, and even vice versa - everyone wants to avoid it. Ralph is very offended when Felix does not invite him to a party in honor of the thirtieth anniversary of the game “Master Felix Jr.” and decides to escape to the game “Hero's Debt” to get a medal, but due to awkwardness, he later falls into the game “Fast and Furious”, bringing with him a cyber bug. There he meets Vanilope, who steals a medal from Ralph and begins to blackmail him to help her take part in the races. At first, Ralph helps her with displeasure, only because of a medal, but after he finds out that she is a buggy code that should not exist (that is, an “outcast” in the game), she makes friends with her and decides to help him achieve the goal - win the race. At the end of the film, Ralph saves the world of The Fast and the Furious game, and the inhabitants of his native game begin to respect Ralph, accepting him as a full member of the family.
• Vanillope von Keks ( Eng. Vanellope von Schweetz ) - a glitch girl from the game "Sweet Fast and the Furious." She stole a medal from Ralph to pay for participation in the race, which caused his anger, but later explained to him the situation, and they become best friends. Dreams to take part in races, but has no funds. When angry or worried, it begins to “buggy”. Later it turns out that this is her unique ability to teleport and pass through walls, and Vanilope herself is a true princess of the game "Sweet Fast and Furious", which was captured by Turbo in the guise of King Caramel and blocked all data about her existence. Having returned everything to its place, it becomes the most popular character in "Sweet Fast and the Furious."
• Master Felix Jr. ( Eng. Fix-It Felix, Jr. - Master Felix Jr. ) is the master who repairs the building after Ralph. As the protagonist of the game, he has purely positive qualities of character, but in the beginning he tried to avoid Ralph, because according to widespread prejudice, the protagonist and antagonist of one game cannot be friends. After he escaped the game, Felix, risking his life, went in search of his footsteps, meeting Sergeant Calhoun and falling in love with her at first sight. Together they went to the "Fast and the Furious", but there Calhoun leaves him, and the local inhabitants imprison Felix. Later, Ralph pulls him out and asks for help. In the end, Felix marries Calhoun and even invites his friend, Ralph, to the wedding as his best man.
• Sergeant Tamora Jean Calhoun is a Space Marine commander from Hero's Duty. Very serious and tough woman. According to the plot of her game, during the wedding of her fiancé, the cyber beetle ate alive, and she shot him from a minigun . Later it turns out that in fact, King Caramel is Turbo , a character from the old and once popular game in the early years of the gaming hall, which could not accept that it had lost popularity in the shadow of new and more popular games. So he captured the game "Fast and the Furious" and got rid of its main character. Later, a cyber beetle devours it, and as a result, Caramel mutates into a virus that intends to capture all the games. He is destroyed by Ralph, causing the eruption of diet Coke as a result of the fall of stalactites from Mentos .
• Sonic the Hedgehog - a hedgehog from the eponymous series of games . In the role, a cameo appeared at the Central Station, where he spoke about the danger of jumping over games.
