Geography
The village is located on the left bank of the Lesnaya River, 12 km north-west by road from the center of the village council and 26.5 km by road north from the center of Brest . There is a bus connection with Brest.
History
In the 19th century, the village was called Korostichi and was part of the estate of Demyanchitsa, Brest district, Grodno province . According to the census of 1897 - the village of Turnyansky volost: 51 courtyards, a school of literacy and a bread store.
After the Riga Peace Treaty of 1921 - as part of the Tournian Commune of the Brest District of the Polessk Voivodeship of Poland. Since 1939 - as part of the BSSR .
