Mega Genre is a subgenre historical and typological group. The mega-genre is formed by intentions united by intention .
According to the theories of a number of Russian literary scholars, along with the meta-genre is a subgenre historical and typological group. Unlike metazhanre, megazhanr has a world-forming, but not archetypal potential. Mega-genres include fiction , detective story , blockbuster , remake and others.
Even A. Vulis , considering adventure literature , defined it as a “large genre”, supra-genre education, a set of genres that combines works that combine the large functional role of adventure [1] .
For example, according to the editor-in-chief of the If magazine A. Shalganov , science fiction is “parallel literature” in which all genres and all directions exist, but only with an additional element of disagreement. Fiction includes both general genres of literature (for example, a psychological novel , an upbringing novel , social and historical prose , a thriller , a detective story ), and specific genres (for example, a cosmoopera , techno-fantasy ). Like the metazhan, the megazhr goes beyond the tribal and literary-formal boundaries of the traditional genre. For example, a modern detective, in addition to prose, can exist in a poetic or dramatic form (“ Dedicated to Yalta ” by I. Brodsky , “The Seagull ” by B. Akunin ). A mega-genre can serve as a semantic basis for a meta-genre, if its canon is of great cultural significance [2] .
The emergence of megazhans and other supra-genre forms is associated with the features of the literary process of the 20th century , which is characterized by a crisis of traditional genre forms and numerous experiments on the combination (synthesis) of various genres [3] [4] .
Intensities united by intention form a mega-genre. An example is P. Suskind ’s novel “ Perfumer ”, which combines a detective and historical novel, a parenting novel and a novel about an artist. The mega-genre exists not only in the framework of modernism and post-modernism , but also in realism . For example, the work of Boris Pilnyak “ Volga flows into the Caspian Sea ” combines a production novel and a scientific treatise . A mega-genre feature is interspecific genre mixing [5] . In the mega-genre, genre mixing is diverse [6] .
