Youth Union ( German: Junge Union , JU) is a youth organization under the CDU / CSU bloc, the largest youth political organization with a party in the Federal Republic of Germany and Europe.
Political Position
In its manifesto, the union defines itself as a liberal, progressive, but conservative organization. JU stands for democracy and a social market economy and supports European integration and partnership with the United States within NATO . One of the central tasks is the subsequent reform of the state social security system. The Youth Union supports intergenerational equality, advocates for reforms in the provision of pensions and the health system, and the fight against unemployment. In the field of foreign policy, the union supports the German-American security alliance. Youth Union wants to create more jobs and training places for youth.
