Located in the northeast of the district. The distance to the regional center Smorgon on the highway is about 25 km, to the center of the village council of the agro-town of Vishnevo in a straight line - just under 4.5 km. The nearest settlements are Antosino , Bibki , Osinovka [4] . The area of the occupied territory is 0.0512 km², the length of the borders is 1240 m [5] .
In 1938, Stasino, which at that time had the status of a dungeon and was part of the rural commune of Vishnevo in the Vileika povet of the Vilna province, consisted of 5 smokes (yards) and 25 souls [6] .
In 1939, according to a secret protocol concluded between the USSR and Germany , Western Belorussia found itself in the sphere of interests of the Soviet state and its territory was occupied by the Red Army troops. The village became part of the newly formed Smorgon district of the Vileika region of the BSSR . After the reorganization of the administrative-territorial division of the BSSR, the village was incorporated into the new Molodechno region in 1944. In 1960, due to the new organization of the administrative-territorial division and the abolition of the Molodechno region, Stasino became part of the Grodno region.
According to the census, the population of the village in 1999 was 6 inhabitants [7] .
A few hundred meters from Stasino is a local zodishkovsky reserve .
North-west of the village passes the highway of republican significance P95 Lyntupy - Svir - Smorgon - Krevo - Golshany .
The transport connection with Stasino is carried out via the suburban bus service - a stop at the intersection of the R-95 highway and the country road leading to the village [8] :
