Onion curve (also known as Northern Chernoyarskoe ) is a reservoir in the Chernoyarsk region of the Astrakhan region , located 11 km west of the village of Black Yar in the former ancient Volga riverbed.

It is managed by the Chernoyarsk branch of the Federal State Institution “Astrakhanmeliovodkhoz Management.” It is part of the Kalmyk-Astrakhan rice irrigation system , is an artificially created surface water body, and is listed in the “Catalog of water use for the State Water Cadastre for Water Resources of the Volga River Basin” of the USSR Ministry of Water Supply, type - bulk, purpose - irrigation and irrigation of pastures.The reservoir is an artificial reclamation facility, has no connection with natural watercourses. It is carried out from the Volga River with the help of two floating pumping stations. Fence from the reservoir is also carried out by pumping stations. One of the permitted activities is fish farming in reclamation and fishery reservoirs. Work is underway to stock up the reservoir with valuable fish species in order to increase its fish productivity. The reservoir is located in the steppe zone, there are no paved access roads to it, the pond has a production purpose and organized recreation areas on it are not provided motrena.
According to the burial grounds in the Krivoy Luka area, the post-catacomb Krivolutsk cultural group of the final of the middle bronze was named [3] [4] .
